Mrs. Kathy Overstreet Stafford - BLITCHTON - Mrs. Kathy Overstreet Stafford, age 50 died Thursday morning after a long battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Stafford was a homemaker and a caregiver to the elderly. She enjoyed boating and especially loved the salt waters of Ossabaw Island. Survivors include her husband of 32 years Rodney Stafford of Blitchton; her daughter Lindsey Stafford of Blitchton; parents Bobby and Annette Overstreet of Blitchton; brother Bobby Keith Overstreet of Savannah; sisters Debbie Johnson of Ellabell and Pam Linderman of Pooler and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5-8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Guardians of the Ribbon, The Savannah Chapter. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
