"William L. Bardeen died Monday night at the family home, 1006 Walnut Street. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Cooper, of Detroit; a son, Leon Bardeen of Elmira; a sister, Mrs.Jenny Palmlter of Elmira; two brothers, Thomas L Bardeen of Los Angeles, Cal., and Herbert D. of Alfred Station; two grand-children, Charles Cooper of Detroit and Walter Bardeen, of Elmira. The body reposes in the Wilson funeral home and will be moved to the family home late this afternoon. Friends may call at the home until Thursday noon. A private funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. The Rev.Edward Holyoke will officiate. Burial in Woodlawn."
