BATAVIA — Margerie L. Doud, 84 of Batavia, entered into new life on May 3, 2008 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1923 near Abingdon to Joseph and Sylvia Lawrence Bradshaw. She married Keith E. Doud on Feb. 24, 1941 in Lancaster, Mo., he preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2002.
She was raised and educated near Farson, graduating from Farson High School in 1941. She had lived most of her adult life in the Batavia area where she had driven truck with her husband earlier in her life and later worked at various cafes and convenience stores in Batavia.
She is survived by her son ... Doud of Batavia, a stepson ... of Batavia, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, a brother Merle Bradshaw of Fairfield and a sister Dorothy Major of Fairfield. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Kremer Funeral Chapel in Batavia. Interment will be in Batavia Cemetery.
