Mrs. Susie Linn, life resident, dies at age 78
Mrs Susie B. Linn, 78 of Rock Island, died at 4:30 Saturday afternoon in the Comfort Harbor Nursing Home, Milan, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 tomorrow morning in the Whalan Funeral Home. The Rev Heine Ciesielski, pastor of St Josephs Roman Catholic Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Friends may call at the funeral home.
The former Susie Koehler was born Feb 3, 1894, in Rock Island, the daughter of Christian and Mary Fuhr Koehler. She was a life resident. She was married to John W. Linn Dec. 18, 1912, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death last Oct 30.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter Franck, rural Aledo. Three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Clara Petersen, Milan, and a brother, Christian Koehler, Rock Island. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, a granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters
