Mrs. Anna Kaltenbrun, 78, of St. Nazianz, died Friday evening at her home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Kaltenbrun residence and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, with the Rev. Dennis Cooney officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kaltenbrun was born July 26, 1881, at Baden, Germany, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Stahl. She came to the United States with her family in 1890. She was married to Anton Kaltenbrun May 19, 1908 at St. Nazianz. Her husband preceded her in death in 1920 at which time Mrs. Kaltenbrun assumed managership of the Kaltenbrun Mfg. Co. which she managed until the time of her death. She was a member of St. Gregory Church and the church Christian Mothers Altar Society.
Survivors include a son, at home; two daughters, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Geigel, Mrs. Frank Schwab, and Mrs. Sylvia Mertens; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Francis Schnell, preceded her in death in 1941.
Friends may call at the residence after 2 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc.
