Albin (Dave) Heinzen, age 91, of St. Nazianz, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 29, 1993, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at t. Gregory's Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Father Cletus LaMere will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He was born May 12, 1901, in the Town of Eaton, son of Frank and Mary Hartman Heinzen. He attended St. Gregory School and was employed by the Manitowoc County Highway Department for 45 years. He married Bertha Schwoerer on October 23, 1928 at St. Nazianz.
Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Betty, Manitowoc; three daughters and one son-in-law, Valerie Mullins, Brillion, Lucille Heinzen, Green Bay, and Jean and Ronnie Sempier, Orlando, Fla.; two daughters-in-law, Carol Heizen (sic), St. Nazianz, Mary Ann Daun, Chilton; 17 grandchildren; four step grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sons, Roman and Victor, a daughter-in-law, Roseann Heinzen, a son-in-law, Barney Mullins, a grandson, Michael, one brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at St. Gregory's Church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time service. The Christianson-Deja Funeral Home of Valders is serving the family.

(May 12, 1901-April 29, 1993 –husband of Bertha Schwoerer [married Oct. 23, 1928 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton] –son of Frank Heinzen and Mary Ann Hartman –worked for county highway department for 45 years –in 1936 began renting the house at 103 West Birch Street in St. Nazianz from his father Frank Heinzen, who had purchased the house on April 16, 1936 –after the death of Frank Heinzen in 1946, this house was transferred to Albin –Albin lived in this house until near his death in 1993 –his widow Bertha lived here until her death in 1997 –died from "cerebral vascular accident, hypertension –hip fracture 30 years ago with incomplete healing –hit by heavy machinery at work") –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 5, Row 1, Lot 27] [marriage record Manitowoc 21-100] [death record Manitowoc 97-311]
