Jacob and Mary Jane traveled out west with Jacob's brother Nelson and wife Rose. They all died young except Rose. An uncle brought back the children of Jacob and Mary Jane except Sadie, who had married young to Fred Marshall.

Eva Belle died in Canada at unknown date.
