The news was received here Tuesday of the death of Louis D'Avignon, a former resident of Au Sable Forks, who died that morning at Lake Placid, where he was engaged in the livery business.
The deceased has been ill for upwards of a year and his death was not unexpected.
The remains were brought to Au Sable Forks yesterday afternoon and the burial services will be held this morning (July 17th). He is survived by a wife and two children.
