Helen Louise (Revell) D'Avignon was the wife of John Eugene D'Avignon, son of Francis J. D'Avignon and Elizabeth D'Avignon. J. Eugene D'Avignon resided at Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where he married Helen Louise Revell. They had two daughters, Helen and Dorothy. He was a druggist. He was also sheriff of Essex county, Ontario eight years prior to his death.

Helen often went to Au Sable Forks, New York to visit in the twenty-five years prior to her death. She spent the summer of 1941 visiting her brother-in-law, James S. D'Avignon, at Au Sable Forks. As she was preparing to leave to return home to Windsor, she fell and injured a hip. She was taken to Lake Placid General Hospital on September 13, having failed to recover. Complications set in, and she died September 18th. Her funeral was held from St. James Episcopal Church in Au Sable Forks, and burial took place in the D'Avignon plot in the Fairview cemetery there.
