Isabelle Brown Grable, daughter of Isaac F.and Amanda Waller Brown, was born on October 4, 1865 near Agency, Missouri and died at her home in Frankfort, Kansas on
December 11, 1940.

When still a small child, she moved with her parents to a homestead near Marysville, Kansas where she was married to Jason Grable on November 21, 1881, he died on October 1, 1908. To this union was born two children, Maud Grable Schafer, who died on October 11, 1940 and Glen Elder
Grable.

Mrs. Grable has been a member of the Christian Church of Vermillion, Kansas since 1890. She was one of a family of
ten children and had spent almost her entire life in Marshall County.

Surviving her are one son, Glen Grable, San Diego, California; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers,Ernest W. Brown, Flora, Illinois, and
Charles E. Brown, Greenleaf, Kansas.

Burial was in the Vermillion Cemetery, Vermillion, Kansas.
