Philip B. Cuzick, 86, of Speedwell Rd., Richmond, died Sunday at The Terrace in Berea. Mr. Cuzick was born in Madison Co., Ky., on Oct. 25, 1921, the son of Henry and Rosetta Gentry Cuzick. He loved police work and devoted his life to law enforcement. He was a former patrol officer with the Kentucky State Police, a Security Officer with Blue Grass Army Depot and Eastern Ky. University and a Madison Co. Deputy Sheriff. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard during World War II and enjoyed gardening, fishing and farming.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Abney Cuzick; one son, Glenn Cuzick (Janet), of Richmond; one daughter, Phyllis Williams (Byron), of Lexington; three grandchildren, Tony Cuzick (Melanie), Jesse Cuzick and Amy Ottesen (Eddie); two great-grandchildren, Maddie and Chrissy Cuzick. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Sim, Ralph, and M. J. Cuzick; one sister, Mary Frances Newell.

Funeral Services at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Johnnie Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery. Visitation at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
