Wlliam Edward Register Jr. 73 of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday April 24, 2010 at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born December 5, 1936 in Jefferson City a son of the late William Edward and Venita Florence (Toebben) Register. He was a 1953 graduate of St Peter High School in Jefferson City. On February 11, 1956, he was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Carol Jo Fisher who preceded him in death in 1999. On November 23, 2002 he was united in marriage in Jefferson City to Donna Jo Coleman who survives of the home.

Mr Register worked in beverage sales for Dr Pepper/7 Up Bottling Company from 1955-1972 and Fechtel Beverage Company of Sedalia from 1972-1984. He later worked for AAA Mailing Service Company where he retrired in 2008. He was a member of St Peter Cadillic Church in Jefferson City, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of Sacred Heart School Board and Booster Club in Sedalia. served on the Sedalia Parks amd Recreation Board, and was co-founder of Capital Speedway. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid race fan, and especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and dance.

HE is survived by two sons, Mark Register and wife Julie of Sedalia, Shane Bowman and wife Beth of Jefferson City, four daughters, Shelly Register of Reno NV. Lisa Kelly and husband Johnny of Birmingham AL. Kim Kleindienst and huaband John of Jefferson City, JoLynn Turley and husband Randy of Sedalia, one brother, Marvin Register and wife Barbara of Jefferson City. three sisters in law, Linda Hickman of Broomfield CO. Karen Coleman of Jefferson City, Sandy Coleman of Jefferson City, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Joseph Register, one brother in law, Kenny Coleman and one nephew Scott Register.

Friends will be received from 5-7p.m. Monday April 26, 2010 at the Houser Millard Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be held at 7p.m. with Msgr Donald W. Lammers officiating. Friends will also be received from 1-2;15p.m. Tuesday April 17 2010 at the Sacred Heart School Gym in Sedalia, Mo. where Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2;30 p.m.with Fr. Jim Betzen officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Sedalia Mo.
