After retiring from active ministry, Sister Marie Celine performed various tasks at Ozaam Home, New Berlin and St. Francis Convent, Manitowoc. She has been residing in St. Rita Health Center at the Motherhouse since 1999. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marion Revoy, Ironwood, Regina (Michael) Kolesar, Sacramento, California; two sisters-in-law, Jean Kichak, Ironwood and Germaine Kichak, Mercer, Wis., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, The Rev. Joseph Kichak, John Kichak and Frank Kichak, a niece, Barbara Fricke, a brother-in-law, John Revoy and a sister-in-law, Hazel Kichak.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, Oct.21 at Holy Family Convent Chapel in Manitowoc, with the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, celebrant. Burial was in Holy Family Convent Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. John Kichak Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kolesar, Mrs. John Revoy and
daughter, Patricia, Ironwood and the Rev. Joseph A. Kichak of St.
Joseph's parish, Calumet, attended the twenty-fifth Jubilee of Sister
Marie Celiine, Franciscan Order, daughter of Mrs. John Kichak Wednesday
at Holy Family Convent in Manitowoc, Wis. Sixteen other sisters also
celebrated this honor.
Father Kichak, brother of Sister Marie Celine, was celebrant of the
Jubilee High Mass at 9:30 the Rev. Fr. Applegate, Columbus, Ohio, served
as deacon and the Rev. Fr. Hinkels, S.V.D. Techny, Ill., was sub-deacon.
The sermon was given by the Rev. Fr. Heller, Sheboygan and the master of
ceremonies was the Rev. Fr. Hurley, Chaplain of Holy Family convent.
