Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 1995, at Holy Family Convent Chapel. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O.Praem., with burial in Holy Family Cemetery.
The foremr Wilhelmina Petronella Kerkhof was born March 25, 1901, in Hollandtown, Wis., daughter of the late Henry and Johanna Kempen Kerkhof. She entered the convent in 1922 and professed her vows in 1925. Sister Everildis earned a R.N. diploma from Holy Family School of Nursing, Manitowoc. She served as a teacher of primary grades at St. Joseph, Rice Lake, and as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio; Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc; St. Frances Memorial Hospital, West Point, Neb., Ozanam Home, New Berlin, Wis., and St. Rita's Infirmary at the Motherhouse. Since 1988, she had been living at Holy Family Convent.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity; one sister, Sister Merilda Kerkhof, OSF, Manitowoc; nieces, nepehws, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Holy Family Convent Chapel.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
