She was born July 29, 1905 at Caldwell, near Morrill, to John and Mattie (Parrish) Kellums. She attended schools near there and attended college at Laramie, Wyoming, and graduated from Barnes Business School at Denver. She then worked as a stenographer for Great Western Sugar Company at Lyman. She married Albert Richardson on May 31, 1930. They lived in the Hay Springs area for a while. She married James Lippincott on January 21, 1969. They have lived near Lyman since then.
She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church, member and past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star at Hay Springs and a member of the Homesteaders Club.
Survivors include her husband, daughters Mrs. W. June Dillon of Monte Vista, Colorado, and Mrs. Dixie Moody of Crawford, NE.; step-daughters Mrs. Jean Lind and Mrs. Mary Louise Lind, both of rural Lyman, a sister, Mrs. Ena Wolski of Torrington, Wyo.; brothers, Clarence Kellums of Lyman and John Kellums of Downey, California; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
