HINTON Faustine Hinton, 88, passed away April 4, 2003 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Soperton, GA and moved to Jacksonville in her early 20s. Mrs. Hinton worked at the King Edward, and was a charter member of the Norwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, C.E.Hinton. Mrs. Hinton is survived by her son, Larry Hinton (Diane) of Rockhill S.C., daughter, Shirlyn Gay (Raymond) of Jacksonville, FL, brother, Luther Gillis of Jacksonville, Fl, five granddaughters, Shawn Main, Yvonne Malcolm, Julie Harrigan, Jenny Sloan, Amy Caldwell, and she was also blessed with 6 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.
