GREAT BEND — Surrounded by those who truly loved her, Teddi Ann Maneth, 71, passed from this life to her final reward on Oct. 10, 2012 at her home in Great Bend.
Born Jan. 13, 1941 in Mazepa, Minn. she was the daughter of Theodore and Caroline (Schumacher) Hoffmann. On Aug. 1, 1964, she married Paul E. Maneth at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. A Great Bend resident for 47 years, Mrs. Maneth was a homemaker.
In this world, Teddi's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, her friends, and her relationship with her God. She loved to bake cookies for the grandchildren on their birthdays and to spend time with them when she could. Her love of flowers was one of her passions and she enjoyed sharing that passion with others. Those who knew her remember her for her smile even when her health made her life difficult.
Mrs. Maneth was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, and Great Bend Garden Club.

Maneth, of the home; a son, Don Maneth and his wife Tatiane, San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Anne Marie Higgins and her husband LTC Sean, Stuttgart, Germany; two brothers, Maurice Hoffmann and his wife Audrey, Orange, Calif.; and Gerald Hoffmann and his wife Donna, Davenport, Fla.; sister-in-law, Virginia Hoffmann, Brainerd, Minn.; brothers-in-law, William Maneth and his wife Kay, Great Bend; Larry Maneth and his wife Karel, Salina; and Ron Maneth and his wife Janet, Amarillo, Texas; and nine grandchildren, Brett Ellis, Preston Higgins, Ashlyn Higgins, Caitlin Higgins, Molly Higgins, Collin Higgins, Brendan Higgins, Isabel Higgins, and Jack Higgins.
