William Emery Delaney, 60, died March 14, 1980, in Home Hospital emergency room of an apparent heart attack. Born and reared at Green Hill, he moved to Lafayette in 1945. He had managed Owens Refinery at Five Points since January, and prior to that he was a salesman at Glennar Mercury-Lincoln Inc. He was married at Lafayette in 1945 to Grace L. Howard, who survives with a daughter, Juanita (Mrs. James) Hubertz; two sons, Roger Delaney and Randall Delaney; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Primmer, Dora Mae (Mrs. Carl) Kellison, Mrs. Ella Walker; and one brother, Thomas L. Delaney, all of Lafayette. Service was held March 17 in Hippensteel Chapel; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
