Mrs. Frances Cook White, 49, of 243 Garfield Ave., Carrollton, died suddenly and unexpectedly in her home Sunday at 10:10 p.m. Born here August 23, 1916, she was a life resident of Carrollton. Her late parents were Chal and Alice Viola (Howell) Maple. Mrs. White was a member of First Methodist Church in Carrollton and was president of the Carroll County Rural Carrier Auxiliary.
She was married May 26, 1933, to William L. White, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dee Ann Perry of Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii, and Miss Gail Irene White of the home: one sister, Mrs. Irene Smith of Kilgore; four brothers, Winfield, Martin and Preston Maple, all of Carrollton, and Sgt. Denton Maple with the State Highway Patrol in Loudon, Ohio, and three grandchildren. An infant sister and brother are deceased. Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Allmon Funeral Home here with Rev. Richard C. Swogger officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, in Carrollton. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
