EVVIE RETTA JOHNSON (NEE:KNIGHT) -77
Mrs. Evvie Knight Johnson, 77, of 1937 Hubbard Street, died Sunday following a brief illness. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Hamilton County, Florida and had lived in Jacksonville since 1938. She was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday school class. Survivors include her husband, James E, Johnson, Jacksonville, two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Godbold of Fort Pierce, and Mrs. Elnora Pinner of Staunton, Virginia; two sons, Wallace Lampp and Lester Lampp, both of Jacksonville, seven sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday in the Main Street Baptist Church, Dr. E.C. McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Hardage-Krauss Northside Funeral Home, 34th and Main Street in charge.
