Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Mary (Fee) Doyle, he lived in Warwick since 1953.
Mr. Doyle had been employed by the Postal Service for 45 years as a railway postal worker. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the National Council of Senior Citizens, the Gaspee Senior Citizens and the American Association of Retired Persons. He was a communicant of St. Timothy Church. Mr. Doyle was a master of a beautiful lawn in Governor Francis Farms.
Besides his wife, he leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Monday from the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy Church, Warwick. Burial followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
