Services for Janis Hunt, 63, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Hillier Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hunt died Monday at College Station Medical Center.
She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and a member of the Brazos Genealogical Association and Research Ramblers. She volunteered for the Carnegie History Center and Bryan City Cemetery Association. Mrs. Hunt was a member of First Untied Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Hunt of Bryan; a son, David L. Hunt of Bryan; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Steve Herring of Bryan; and a sister and brother-in-law, Merry and Jack Watts of Arlington.
