Our Dearly Beloved, Dorothy Ann Andrews was affectionately known as Dot was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Mamie E. Andrews and Charles Lucky Riley on April 10, 1952.

Dot loved being around her family and friends. She was a mother to many and always had an open door where everyone was welcome to come in, sit and talk. Dot had such a zest for life. She enjoyed her Find a Word puzzle books and playing cards (pinochle, etc.) with anyone with enough nerve to challenge her in a game. Dot also loved her laptop computer in which she would play games for many, many hours. She loved to cook her fried chicken, potato salad, cabbage, spaghetti and yeast rolls.

Dot was the mother of four children who loved her dearly. Her son Randolph "Randy" Andrews preceded her in death.

Love and miss you so much Dot!

Your family!

Because the Angels Came for D-Dot

No more grief or sorrow,
no more suffering or pain;
Now there is everlasting peace,
because the angels came.
Only God know what is best,
and He gently holds my hand,
Guiding me to a better place,
because the angels came
I now can rest in peace,
as I never could before.
I answered the gentle knock,
of the angels at my door.
So please don't mourn for me,
as new wings I now claim.
I have taken my flight to Heaven
because the angels came.
