Sister Marcine Hoeller, age 79, of Holy Family convent, Manitowoc, died Monday, August 17, 1992, at the Convent.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 19, 1992, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel. The Rev. Samuel D. Jadin, O.Praem, will officiate, with burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Madeline Hoeller was born May 13, 1913, in Port Washington, daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Schwalbach Hoeller. She entered the convent in 1927, professing her vows in 1931. Sister Marcine served as a homemaker for the Sisters at Kellnersville, Brillion, Plymouth and Oshkosh, Wis., Komatke, covered Wells, Tuscon, Bapchule, San Miguel and Yuma, Ariz., and Wellsburg, W. Va. She was Perfect(sic) of the boys at Guardian Angel Boarding School, Oneida, and an executive housekeeper at St. Francis Memorial Hospital, West Point, Neb., Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio, and Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. In 1983 she retired to the Motherhouse. She is a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Chrisitan Charity.
Survivors include the Franiciscan (sic) Sisters of Chrisitan Charity; one sister, Sister Mary Mark Hoeller, OSF, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Aloys Hoeller, Milwaukee, August and Edna Hoeller, Albuquerque, N.M., Marion Hoeller, Delavan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call at Holy Family convent this evening, from 4-8 p.m., where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at Holy Family Convent Chapel. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting with funeral arrangements.
