John David Campbell, 59, 709 Waldemere, died last night at home.
Mr. Campbell was born in Caraway, Ark., and moved to Muncie in 1939. For a time, he served in the Merchant Marines. Mr. Campbell was employed by the Muncie Sanitation Department prior to which he had worked for Ball Brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Curtis Campbell; a son, Jimmie; three daughters, Mary, Peggie, and Shirley; a brother, James; a sister, Euvine; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Meeks Mortuary at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Memorials may be sent to the American Lung Association of Indiana.
