Funeral service for Joshua Nathan Aguero, 24, Lawton, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Thompson officiating.

Joshua passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his residence in Midland, Texas.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

He was born September 17, 1988 in Odessa to Oscar Aguero and Christy Kellett. He grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and graduated from MacArthur High School in 2007 in Lawton, OK. Recently, he moved to Midland, TX to be near his brother and other family.
He had a love of life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved camping and anything to do with being around the water. He was always the "protector" to those dear to him. He also loved watching scary movies and hanging out anywhere outdoors. The light of his life was his son, Dallas.

He is survived by his son, Dallas Aguero, of Crescent OK, Parents, Christy & Mark Kellett of Lawton OK, Oscar & Cheri Aguero of Odessa TX, brothers, Christopher Aguero of Midland TX, John Aguero of Odessa, TX, sisters, Emily Kellett of Lawton OK, Lily Aguero of Odessa TX, grandparents, Wayne & Sue Pritchard of Odessa TX, Eva Romero of Odessa TX, Myrl & Wanda Kellett of Lawton OK, Oscar & Pam Aguero of Howe OK, Rick & Maude Stains of Odessa TX, great grandmother Elvira McGuire of Odessa TX, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Caleb James Aguero, and grandfather Johnny Romero.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Aguero, Samuel Romero, Brandon Alt, Jarret Coffer, David McGuire and Rusty Roberson.
