Alvin A. Trahan, a retired engineer of Scappoose, died Saturday in Portland. His funeral will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Finley's under the auspices of Darlington lodge No. 189, AF&AM.
Mr. Trahan was born on December 5, 1899, in Whitewater, Colo., and had lived in Portland and Scappoose for the past 25 years.
He is survived by the widow, Rachel, of Scappoose; a daughter, Mrs. A G. Manson of Portland, and a son, Rodney R. of Scappoose.
