Cook, Glenda Denise – age 50 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Glenda attended City on a Hill Church. She was employed by Choice Data. Preceded in death by parents, Glen and Margaret (Howell) Cook; grandparents, Sam and Louvernia Cook, and George and Carrie Howell; and grandmother, Ethel Howell. Survived by brother, Steve Cook. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Colson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City on a Hill Church in support of their Haitian Church Project, 3001 Knoxville Center Drive, Suite 2961B, Knoxville, TN 37924. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM on Friday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM interment. Special thanks to Cathy, Mary, Barbara, Betsy, and Covenant Hospice.
