Dr. C. M. Edmunds Former Veteran Druggist Dies
Dr. Crittenden M. Edmunds, formerly a druggist in business in Louisville for thirty years died of paralysis yesterday at his home, 1205 South Seventh street. Lately he had been engaged in the confectionary business. He was stricken more than three years ago and suffered a second stroke about six months ago, since which time he had been confined to his room.
Dr. Edmunds was born in Glasgow, Kentucky. Coming to Louisville, he established a drug store at 9th and Broadway and later in Highland Park. He was a member of the Kentucky Pharmacist Association and prominent throughout the state in the drug business. Recently he disposed of his drug interest and conducted a confectionary store at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Fannie Dishman Edmunds and a son, E. C. Edmunds of Louisville. Arrangements for the funeral will be made today.
