Miriam W. Motto, 92, Bedford, died Saturday at Colonial Courtyard. She was the daughter of Dr. Guy S. and Carrie A. (Noble) Tippery. She married Leonard E. Motto on July 31, 1954, in Altoona, and he died Aug. 15, 1985. Surviving are a son, Brinton L. of Camp Hill; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Rupp. Friends will be received from 4 until the 6 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford, the Rev. Doug Friant officiating. Burial will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Altoona.
