"FLY CREEK - "The death of Charles H. Irish a highly respected resident of this village occurred at his home on Monday evening as the result of heart trouble and complications with which he had been afflicted for a period of years. Mr. Irish was a son of the late Rasselas R. and Martha (Lewis) Irish, and was born August 20, 1851. Many years of his life had been lived in Fly Creek, where July 16, 1921, he married Mrs. Emma Reynolds of Fly Creek. He was a carpenter by occupation during his active years. Surviving are his wife, a brother, Rasselas S. Irish of Mt. Vision, and a sister, Mrs. Clarence Edgett of Fly Creek ... the interment was made in Fly Creek Valley cemetery."
