MORRILL - William Phillip Elliott,92, Morrill, died Saturday in a Sabetha hospital where he had been a patient about 3 weeks.
He was born Jan. 24, 1880 at Morrill and spent his life in the Morrill community. He attended the Baptist Church at Morrill. He had been a farmer and was a rural mail carrier 45 years before he retired.
He was married to Effie Showalter Aug. 21, 1918 at Falls City, Neb. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Don Bunker, Topeka; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Monday at Popkess Mortuary at Sabetha with burial in Morrill Cemetery.
