She was born in Clearmont, Mo., and formerly lived in Burlington Junction, Mo. She had lived in Maryville since 1947. Mrs. Jones was a retired manager of the former Mode-O-Day Dress Shop of Maryville. She was a member of the Christian Church and L. Club, both of Burlington Junction. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association and the American Legion Auxiliary, both of Maryville. She married Harold D. Jones, Sr., on March 17, 1921, in St Joseph. He died in 1973.
Surviving are a son, Harold D. Jones, Jr., of Maryville; a brother, Wilbur Bush of Maryville; a sister, Ivan Fine of Maryville; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville." St Joseph News-Press, May 10, 1990
