After the war, Benedyk and Frances had four children: Eleanor (1920), Jane (1921), Lillian (1925) and Eugene (1927). The family lived at 4923 Scotten Ave. in Detroit in 1922 and 1923. As early as 1928, the family was living at 5117 N. Campbell Ave. in Detroit.
On March 29, 1935, Frances died from cerebral apoplexy. She was 48 years old.
Frances was buried April 2, 1935 in Holy Cross Cemetery in Detroit. The undertaker was J. J. Sarnowski.
