Margaret V. (Marx) Hauber, 80, Westwood, KS, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2002, at home. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5250 Mission Rd., Roeland Park, KS. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at St. Agnes, with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice and/or American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Hauber was born February 25, 1922 in Kansas City, KS. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Many a baby she cradled in her arms, to know her, was to love her, her children's friends, their wives, husbands and their children are her legacies. She was strong in her Catholic faith and endless in her love for family. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Grace Marx; brothers, George, Frank, Joe and Robert Marx; sisters, Louise Bender, Grace Magerl, Theresa Gracheck, Mary Anne Marx, Ann Aberer and Frances Aberer. Mrs. Hauber is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph F. Hauber, of the home; her brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Mary Marx of Kansas City, MO; eight children, Joseph B. Hauber and wife, Lois of Arlington, TX, Richard G. Hauber and wife, Sarah of Shawnee, KS, Larry Hauber of Westwood, KS, Jerry Hauber and wife, Julie of Overland Park, KS, Elizabeth Hauber of Westwood, KS, Mary Davidson and husband, Ken of Kansas City, KS, Rose Wessling and husband, Vince of Kansas City, MO and Annette Murphy and husband, Fred of Kansas City, KS; 17 grandchildren, Pam Hauber, Jackie Pecchia and husband, Dave, Christopher Hauber, Eric, Joseph, Jennifer and Erin Hauber, Tina Squire and husband, Cliff, Travis Davidson, Maggie, Emily and Katelyn Wessling, Kenneth and James Murphy, Nick, Natalie and Nathan Hauber; and seven greatgrandchildren, Elaine Waldo, Jessica Hauber, Haley, Lauren, Ivan and Waylon Squire and Emily Davidson.
