DICKIE, Dorothy Blanche - Kentville, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2006, with family members by her side. Born in Dartmouth in 1908, Dorothy was the second youngest daughter of the late Stanley and Phoebe Misner. For the past 30 years, she has lived with her loving daughter and son-in-law in Kentville. Dorothy always looked forward to, and enjoyed many trips to St. Petersburg Beach, Fla. She is survived by her only daughter, Carole (Ty) Henley, Kentville; her grandchildren, Stephen (Lisa) Henley, Newfoundland; Janice (Mike) Strickland, New Minas; Michael (Jane) Henley, Halifax; seven great- grandchildren whom she loved very dearly. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Gerald "Gormey" Dickie. There will be no visitation by family request. A private family graveside service will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings Co., Rev. Robert Billings officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to White Family Funeral Home, Kentville
