MOUNT VERNON — Toby A. Kidd, 74, of Mount Vernon, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.
She was born May 1, 1938, in Columbus, to the late Paul William and Ann (Brannon) Ray. Toby was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Deb Kidd Curran of Mount Vernon and Sandy (Patrick) Kidd-Prestridge of Wadsworth; five grandchildren, Nick and Nicole Kidd, Megan Curran, Tyler (Casey) Curran, Madison Prestridge; a great-grandson, Tucker Alan Curran; aunt, Dorothy Ferguson of Mansfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Toby was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Kidd in 2011; a son, Steven E. Kidd; and three brothers.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Jonathan Fettig officiating. Burial will follow in Bladensburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Toby's name to First Presbyterian Church, 102 N. Gay St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
