YORK A. Barbara Welker Beury, 78, formerly of Middletown and York, died Thursday in Manor Care North.
She was a member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church, York New Salem, and the Shamokin High School Alumni Association.
She was the widow of Merlin Charles Beury. Surviving are a son, Michael L. of Columbia; a daughter, Sylvia J. Helterbridle of Spring Grove RD 3; a sister, Sylvia L. Welker of Shamokin; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sauter Funeral Home, Spring Grove. Burial will be in St. Jacob Union Cemetery, York New Salem.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Harrisburg, Pa. 17108.
