George W. Bray, was the son of George Bray and Annie Garrison. On the 28th of December 1893 in Washington Twp., Green County, Wisconsin, he married Myrtie Clayton, the daughter of Samuel Thomas Clayton and Elizabeth Ataline Simmons.

George and Myrtie had three children, all born in Washington Twp., Green County, Wisconsin: a son Harry Eliphalet Bray born 26 October 1894, a daughter Ruth born 7 March 1897, and a son Ralph Clayton Bray born 6 October 1898.

Myrtie Clayton Bray, the wife and mother, died 20 Apr 1901 in Adams Twp., Green County, Wisconsin, and was buried in what is now called Union Benkert Cemetery; a family burying ground adjoining the old Clayton and Benkert farms in Green County, Wisconsin.
