Carl E. Beehler, 75, of Stroudsburg, formerly of Catasauqua, and Plainfield, N.J., died Monday, March 27, at home.
He taught English at Catasauqua High School for a few years and was employed in the English Department of the Plainfield (N.J.) School District from 1968 to 1986.
He attended East Stroudsburg University and Harvard University. He graduated from Stanford University with a master's in business. He received his master's in education from Middlebury (Vt.) College.
Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Harold and Mildred (Snyder) Beehler.
He was a member of the Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, Stroudsburg.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
