Emory G. Long of Stonewall passed away on Friday, October 5th in the Windcrest Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 75 years. He was born January 7, 1937, in Burnet, the son of Emory T. and Lavera Henderson Long. Mr. Long married Judith Evers on September 14, 1957 in Fredericksburg, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith, and a sister, Rose Floyd.
Mr. Emory G. Long is survived by two sons and spouses: Ryan Cole and Stacy Long of Cedar Park, Wade and Anne Long of Austin, Two Grandchildren: Zachary Cole Long and Collin Anne Long; One Sister, One Brother and spouses Barbara and Carl Miller of Lampasas, Tommy and Sally Long of Burnet; Sister in laws: Doris and Mike Eckert of Fredericksburg, Kay and Clyde Woerner of Georgetown.
Funeral Services for Mr. Emory G. Long will be held on Thursday, October 11th at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
