He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Judy McGee, and his children: Lynn (Dan) Poledna, Tracey McDowell, Toni (Tim) Belcher, Laurie McDowell (John), and Michael McDowell; three granddaughters; one grandson; and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by four stepchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents Chester McDowell and Helen Lee McDowell, his three brothers, and a grandson.
He worked at National Retail Hardware for many years and was also a realtor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid Colts fan and sports enthusiast. He did daily crossword puzzles in ink and was the first to solve the Wheel of Fortune puzzle.
