Martin Ross Griffin, age 69, of Smithville, Tennessee passed from life on May 6, 2003.
Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his parents, Ransom Isaiah Griffin and
Ada 'Edna' Colwell Griffin and one brother, Harold Griffin.
He had been a carpenter.
Survivors include his devoted, beloved wife, Izena Young Griffin; one daughter and her spouse, Judy and Steve Merriman of Dekalb County; one son, James Griffin ;
two grandsons - Steve Merriman and
Jake Merriman; two brothers, S.T. Griffin and Almon Griffin both of White County; two sisters, Vera Mae Seabolt of White County and Kathleen Patton of Florida.
Services were conducted on May 8, 2003, at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville with burial in the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery. Brother James Allen and
Brother Donnie Kelley officiated.
