Alden apparently lived his entire life in Cincinnatus, primarily on the West Hill. (Part of the Harrington farm passed to the Bryan family, and became the south part of what is now the Knickerbocker Hill Farm.)
Children included Olive Harrington, who married Dudley Bryan.
