Services for Hardin S. Baird, 65, of
Route 1, Rockledge, will be held at 2
p.m. Thursday in East Dublin Baptist
Church with the Rev. Ronnie Powell
officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion
Cemetery in Rockledge.
A native of Centeral City, Ky., Mr
Baird had lived in the Rockledge
community for the past 10 years. He
was the son of the late Charles Noble
and Elsie Bennett Baird and served in
the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Mr Baird was a member of East
Dublin Baptist Church and a retired
employee of Pan Am American Air
Lines. He died Tuesday in a local
hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes
Baird of Rockledge.
The body will lie in state at Townsend
Funeral Home until an hour prior
to the services.
The family will receive friends at
the funeral home tonight from 7-8 30
