Emma Isabelle Benner (Lamberson) KIDD, 91, of 29 E. Garber St., Mount Union, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Huntingdon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly Huntingdon Manor, Huntingdon. Born March 29, 1913, in Mapleton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sarah J. (Parsons) Lamberson. She was united in marriage to Roy M. Kidd Sept. 24, 1930. Mr. Kidd preceded her in death June 1, 1968. She is survived by one son, Phil L. Kidd, and his wife, Lucy, of Mount Union, and by one grandson, one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren. One brother, Preston Lamberson of Mount Union, survives. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell C. Kidd, and the following brothers and sisters; Jesse Lamberson, Irvin Lamberson, Viril Lamberson, Mary Bigelow and Zella Stewart. Mrs. Kidd attended the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Mount Union. She worked for many years at the L. Greif Bros. Manufacturing Plant in Mount Union, and following that, the Arrow Shirt Co. in Huntingdon. She also served as a cook at the M&M Restaurant in Huntingdon, Miller's Diner in Mill Creek and Jayne Gifford's Restaurant in Mount Union. Mrs. Kidd enjoyed the outdoors and following Pittsburgh Pirates baseball. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home in Mount Union with Pastor William Wollett officiating. Interment will be made in the Mount Union Cemetery.
