Cecil E. Wilhoit, age 48, a Greene County farmer of prominence, died this morning at 3:45 a.m in a local hospital.

He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Maneita Waddell Wilhoit: three sons; Kenneth E. and Clinton of Greene County and Bobby Ray Wilhoit of San Deigo, Calf., three grandchildren; three brothers, Clyde Wilhoit of Greene County, Ray Wilhoit of Greeneville, and Carl Wilhoit of Springfield, Tn.; and two sisters: Mrs. H.O. Cutshaw of Greeneville and Mrs. W.P. Fillers of Greene County.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m from the Solomon Lutheran Church. Rev. D.W. Zipperer will officiate. Burial will be in Greene Lawn Memory Garden.

Active pallbearers will be Woodrow Gibbs, Frank Fillers, Frank Spears, Grady Crum, Ellis Freshour, Minnis Renner, Harold Brooks and Phillip Reaves.

Honorary pallbearers and flower bearers will be the men of the Solomon Lutheran Church and Friends.

Mr. Wilhoit was a member of the Solomon Lutheran Church where he taught the Young People's Class.

The body will remain at Kiser Funeral Home until it is removed to the church to lie in state for thrity minutes prior to the services.
