Margaret M. McIlvaine, 90, formerly of 334 N. 5th St., Lehighton, died Saturday, Dec. 9, in Gnaden Huetten Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. McIlvaine.
She was a sales manager for the former Windsor Store, Lehighton, for many years before retiring. Previously, she worked at the former Smart Shop, Children's Shop and Copenhaver's Jewelry Stores, all of Lehighton, until their closing.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Margaret J.C. (Muldoon) Lawler.
She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a den mother for Cub Pack 145 and a member of the Lady Elks, both of Lehighton.
Survivors: Sons, Joseph F. Jr. of St. Paul, Minn., Paul M. of Danbury, Conn.; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 4th and Iron streets, Lehighton. Mass, 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Contributions: Gnaden Huetten Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, Philadelphia.
