Mary married Abner Henry Lambert on Feb 26, 1861 in Bloomington, IL. They were the parents of Almeda, Allie, Charles, Lola Leeta, Harley, Coy, Cora, and Maude.


June 5, 1913 - Humboldt Independent - Mary A. Anderson was born near Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana, May 19th, 1845. She was married to Henry A. Lambent in 1861, at
Bloomington, Illinois. To this union were born 8 children, six of whom are still living: Ella Franklin of Wessington, S.D.; Charles Lambert of Wessington, S.D.; Allie Fletcher of Ottumwa, IA; Leetta Boyden of Hotchkiss, CO; Harley Lambert of Estherville, IA; and Coy Lambert of San Diego, CA. Besides those, she leaves four brothers and one sister and a host of friends to mourn her death.

After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Lambert settled near Bloomington, Illinois, and resided there until 1895 when they moved to Iowa and settled near Bradgate. Here the husband, Henry Lambert, died in 1894 (sic). For nearly two years Mrs. Lambert lived in Humboldt, leaving here about six months ago.

She died in Hotchkiss, CO May 28, 1913, aged 68 years, 9 months. The body arrived here Saturday night and was taken to the home of her brother, Lee W. Anderson, from there it was taken to the Baptist church where the funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2. All but one of her six children were here to attend the funeral. A large number of friends were here from Bradgate, her former home. She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in Union Cemetery, Rev. G.A. Barker officiating.
