Robert A. "Wimp" Eusey, age 64, of Tiro died Wednesday January 26, 2011 at his residence. Born October 31, 1946 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Raymond & Wihelmina "Minnie" (Triesch) Eusey, he had been a Tiro resident since 1962. He was a 1964 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. Robert was formerly employed at Shelby Steel Tube and was self employed as a truck driver for over thirty years.

He was a member of Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church in Tiro. Robert loved cooking, especially desserts for social functions, fishing and gardening. He was very emphatic about having a clean car and enjoyed spending time washing, waxing and detailing his autos and trucks.

Survivors include his wife, Janet (Shatzer) Eusey, whom he married November 11, 1967; two daughters, Janel Tuttle and Scott Sexton of Mansfield and Jacquelyn (Terry) Martin of Roanoke, Texas; four grandchildren, Sierra Tuttle, Lacey Rose Martin, Andrew and Conner Martin; three brothers, Raymond Eusey Jr., William (Dee) Eusey and Theodore (Betty) Eusey, all of Galion; four sisters, Jo Ann Day, Susan (Brian) Barrows, Barbara May, all of Galion and Doris Hammock of Hooks, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Dewalt, Thelma Holloway and Peggy Scott; two brothers, Michael and Richard Eusey and his father and mother-in-law, Lester and Rosemary Shatzer.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday January 29, 2011 from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Ralph Kusserow, his pastor, will officiate with interment in Tiro Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made to Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church and MedCentral Hospice.
